I am a Chief Technology and AI Officer living and working in Dublin, Ireland with over 27 years experience in the delivery of enterprise software systems for the healthcare, aviation, financial services and telecommunications sectors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Leading the development and implementation of the technology strategy and roadmap, collaborating across the business to deliver innovative products to our customers.

• AI Officer: Leading AI initiatives, implementation of the AI-SDLC, business owner of the Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS), maintaining ISO 42001 certification.

• Team Leadership: Line management of Software Architecture & Engineering, IT Operations & Information Security teams, driving the AI transformation career planning program.

• Project Sponsor: Driving key projects, ensuring delivery of business value on time and within budget i.e. system modernisation projects, evolving from a current state to a future state architecture with minimal impact on day to day business.

• Security & Data Privacy Governance: Business owner of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations across multiple global jurisdictions, maintaining ISO 27001 & ISO 27701 certifications, and HIPAA compliance.

• Stakeholder Communication: Communicating and presenting the technology strategy and system architecture to internal, external, technical and non-technical stakeholders, at all levels.

• Technical Sales Support: Contributing technical expertise to sales and commercial engagements, including pricing and responding to RFPs.
